I was 46 years old and had a long list of health problems, many dating back over 20 years…high blood pressure, fatigue, chronic constipation, and migraines to name a few.  I had been under continuous doctor’s supervision most of my adult life, and was taking so many prescription medications I had lost count.  When I first walked into Synergistic Health Solutions and met Dr. Donald DeCanio, I was extremely doubtful he would be able to help me.  I am so glad I took that first step.  Thru improved nutrition, whole food supplements, and chiropractic adjustments, I have progressed to the point where I have been able to eliminate more than half of the prescription medications I thought I would be on for the rest of my life!  My body is functioning in a way I no longer thought it capable.  I have renewed energy, and have even begun to lose weight.  Thanks to Dr. DeCanio, I now have something I have been without for a very long time…HOPE.

I started out as a skeptic to alternative medicine.  This changed for me almost two years ago when I began having kidney stones.  The first stone didn’t alarm me, but when I started having 2-5 a month I knew something was wrong.  After speaking to two different Urologists that could not help me and were left scratching their heads as to why as otherwise healthy 23 year old girl was having multiple kidney stones, I decided it was time to go another route.  I was referred to Dr. DeCanio by a friend, and being at my wits end, decided to make an appointment.  I wasn’t sure what to think when Dr. DeCanio informed me my body was malnourished which in turn caused my kidney stones, but began taking the supplements he gave me and eating the foods he told me to eat.  Within two weeks my body felt stronger.  Within three months I felt as if I was a completely different person.  Not only had I not had a kidney stone, but my skin and hair looked and felt healthier and I felt as if I had boundless energy.  It’s been nearly two years since I started seeing Dr. DeCanio and not only have I not had a kidney stone, I feel I am in the best health of my life.

Thanks again for everything that you are doing for me in getting my health to a peak performance.  I am still on my "high" over my normal triglycerides and lower cholesterol -- WOW!   It is so nice to have a doctor that I can not only call at anytime, but that will listen with a concerned ear, and who is always willing to help find a solution to each of my funky little health issues.   Unlike my previous doctor, you have never made me feel that any of my symptoms were "all in my mind" and that I just needed to "get over them".  Although I tend to want to try some things my own way, I am very appreciative of the fact that you let me try my way so I can put that thought process out of my mind!   I am so very grateful that God put you in my path!  Thank you for all you do.
